Before Installing LVP or LVT
You can install "Click" Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) or "Click" Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) on many types of subfloor, including concrete and wood, either above or below grade. If installed correctly you will be able to enjoy your new floor for many years.
Please remember your SUBFLOOR MUST BE LEVEL, SMOOTH, CLEAN, DRY AND STRUCTURALLY SOUND for your installation to be a success. Place a straight edge on your substrate to determine if any subfloor levelling is required.
An uneven subfloor will lead to product failure problems such as, uneven wear as well as planks cracking or separating due to the "Click" LVP or LVT tongues breaking.
Please be aware:
ANY CLAIMS RESULTING FROM A SUBFLOOR THAT IS UNEVEN, NOT SMOOTH, NOT DRY or NOT STRUCTURALLY SOUND, WILL BE DENIED BY THE PRODUCT MANUFACTURER.
THIS IS NOT A PRODUCT MANUFACTURING DEFECT.
