A&R Carpet Barn believes that your floor deserves the best installation possible. That is why, for over 35 years, we have had professional installers handle your installation.

Whether it's carpet, carpet tile, vinyl, hardwood, laminate, LVT or LVP, residential or commercial, A&R Carpet Barn has the right installer for your job.

Leave it up to us.

Once you have been in the our store and selected your material, A&R will take the your particulars and make arrangements to have the installer contact you. The installers will do the measurement, report back to us, and once the job is reviewed and approved by you, will them come out to install your new floor.

When the installation team has finished please remember to walk through the installation space with the crew to make sure all is well. If you see anything that needs to be adjusted let the installer know immediately so they can make any corrections right then. When you are satisfied with the installation, you pay the installer directly for his work, with no mark-up from a middleman.

As a homeowner, you can prepare your site to help the installation flow smoothly:
  • If possible it is a good idea to arrange your schedule so you will be home during the installation. Sometimes you will be asked to make some last minute decisions.
  • Plan to keep children and pets safely away from the installation area.
  • Remove all furnishings, furniture, appliances and plumbing fixtures from the installation area (unless other arrangements have been made with the installer).
  • Propane and natural gas appliances need to be disconnected and reconnected by a licensed professional.
  • Your installation area needs to have power, lighting, water and proper heat which must be kept at 18 degrees celsius (65 degrees fahrenheit) or higher.
If you need assistance with any of these suggestions, please let us know so we can arrange to help you.
